Product owner is a role in agile scrum development team who represents the client and the key stakeholder of the business to the development team and collaboratively works with both groups to ensure there is a clear understanding of what features are, and what requires to build the products and application.

Product owner endorse many responsibilities to maximize the value of the products and the workflow of the scrum team, such as managing the products backlog, progressing the value of the work done, guiding the team to achieve the best results and making sure that the products backlog is visible transport and clear.

Why do you need product Owner?

We need product owner to ensure the successful delivery in the project of the business and maximize the value in return on investment, from the products and from development team. Therefore, product owner takes the responsibility in prioritizing the products backlog, defining and accepting or rejecting the features and constantly gain and comprehend insight into the needs of the customers and users of the software that needs to be developed.

Other responsibilities involves helping the team throughout every iteration or sprint, being available to the team when needed and strongly skills to understand the features from the client or stakeholder and translate into a small or user stories, and simplify the features making it easy for the development team to comprehend and to work on it.
